Terms & Conditions
These terms apply whenever you use any services provided by Aetrus — including website hosting, domain registration, email, AI & Automation Consultancy and Website Creation, lead generation projects, and independent website businesses. By engaging Aetrus, you agree to them.
Our services
Current pricing is available on request, and reviewed annually — we'll give notice before any change affects you.
Payments
- Recurring services (hosting, domains, email) are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, as agreed at signup.
- One-off work (consultancy, website creation, setup) is invoiced on completion, or in stages for larger projects, as agreed beforehand.
- Payment is due within the terms stated on the invoice. We reserve the right to suspend a service if payment is significantly overdue, after reasonable notice.
Cancellation and refunds
Recurring services are billed monthly or annually — see our separate Refund, Dispute & Cancellation Policy for how each works.
Service levels
We aim to keep hosted services available and performant, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted uptime — our underlying infrastructure providers may occasionally have outages outside our control. We'll act promptly to resolve any issue we can influence.
Your responsibilities
You're responsible for the accuracy of the content and data you host or send through our services, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for using our services lawfully — including not using them to send spam, host illegal content, or infringe others' rights.
Data and privacy
We handle personal data in line with UK GDPR — see our Privacy Policy for full detail on what we collect, why, and your rights.
Liability
We'll do our best to deliver services carefully and professionally, but we can't accept liability for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. lost business, lost profits) arising from service interruptions outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Intellectual property
Any custom work we create for you as a commissioned client project (e.g. a website build) becomes your property once paid for in full, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Lead generation projects and independent websites developed and owned by Aetrus in its own right — rather than commissioned by a specific client — remain Aetrus's property throughout, including their content, code, and any business value or leads they generate; using such a site or submitting information through it doesn't transfer any ownership or rights in it. Our own tools, templates, and internal systems also remain ours.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated by email in advance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
